Mira’s exclusive design is based on the Joule-Thompson principle using either N2O or CO2. The CR4000 provides a rapid freeze and thaw tip-freeze-only that produces delicate intracellular crystal formations. These smaller crystals result in less destruction and minimize the potential for inadvertent freezing of extra ocular tissue. Also, the rapid freeze and thaw probes are offered for a wide range of applications and designed with a natural downward positioning that optimizes the surgeons proficiency.
